One of the major thrusts of the CCJD is the continuing development
of “knowledge” tools and products like books, guides, manuals, and
field guides to help reporters, editors and media development
workers enhance their reporting. These publications are
available at the offices of the CCJD and requests for copies can be
made in writing to the Executive Director.

Pera Natin 'to! Citizen Action for Good Governance
This project was built on the belief that corruption in public life will only ever be reduced when ordinary people are abe to understand, monitor-- and ultimately have a say on where and how public money is spent.
It's our money (Pera natin 'to). Every centavo lost to corruption is a centavo stolen from education, poverty reduction, social services adn job creation. Ultimately, beating corruption will result in more inward investment, serious economic development adn far fewer people leaving home in search of a better life overseas.
Breaking the Norms
Philippine Community media innovations through public journalism show that the practice of the craft can go beyond mere agenda setting.
Public Journalism provided the philosophical and conceptual framework for developing innovative ways of practicing the craft: reporting what's wrong and also what's working, telling stories of problems but also how these can be solved by citizens, providing avenues for public discussion of local issues to take place.
Connecting with Communities: A Sourcebook on Pulic Journalism
Connecting with Communities is a map for journalists wishing to expand their coverage, add depth to their news perspective, and begin to write the kind of stories that could help transform communities into self-determining ones. The sourcebook also presents some pretty good arguments, through six cases, why publc journalism deserves to be undertaken and how it has been helping journalists reconnect with their communities

Reporting Human Rights in the Philippines
Reporting Human Rights in the Philippines is a field guide for Journalists and Media Workers.
It is for the media to help develop and protect human rights and the rule of law. If they do not, who will- and who in turn will help protect them? Rights do not simply appear. Even if they are formally agreed in Geneva or New York and are enshrined in international law, rights do not automatically happen. Laws are man-made, observed- adn broken. Every society need ists pioneers and defenders if it is to progress adn be free and fair.
Reporter's Notebook and Safety Guide
This Reporter's Notebook and Safety Guide is a handy companion for Journalists and Media Staff on dangerous assignments. This was produced to serve as a constant reminder to journalists in the region that hostile and dangerous environments can never be safe but reporting them can be made safer.
